Scott’s journey in hairdressing is one of passion, creativity, and global experience. Since qualifying in 2006 at a leading London academy with merit, Scott began his career working alongside a world-renowned hairdressing superbrand. His early years were shaped in a fast-paced salon environment, where he honed his craft and developed a flair for precision, innovation, and authentic client connection.
After four successful years in Colchester, Scott took his talent global—relocating with the brand to Sydney, Australia. What started as a temporary move became a transformative chapter; he spent four years perfecting his skills in the vibrant Australian beauty scene before returning to London to take on the international stage.
Back in the UK, Scott rose to prominence as a stylist for London Fashion Week, contributing to editorial shoots and high-fashion campaigns. His creativity and leadership then led him to Dubai, where he managed The Salon at The Ritz-Carlton. During his time in the UAE, he also became the freelance head stylist for Beach City, one of Dubai's leading fashion brands-cementing his reputation at the intersection of hair and high fashion.
Returning to the UK in 2023, Scott brought with him a wealth of international experience. As a freelancer, he quickly made waves, styling for major fashion brands including ASOS, and working with TV personalities from Love Island and The Only Way Is Essex. In 2024, his influence and artistry were recognised when he was named Influencer Hairdresser of the Year.
Opening Scott James Hair Studio in his hometown of Colchester has always been Scott’s dream. It’s here, where he first picked up a pair of scissors, that he now offers his signature blend of luxury, precision, and creativity to every client who walks through the door.

Her philosophy combines timeless elegance with a modern sensibility, resulting in effortlessly refined, couture-inspired looks that are uniquely tailored to each client.
