Cancellation Policy
Scott James Hair Studio – Client Policy & Cancellation Terms Thank you for choosing Scott James Hair Studio. To ensure a smooth and professional experience for all clients, please carefully read our policy before booking. By making an appointment, you are agreeing to the terms outlined below. Deposits & Booking Policy A deposit is required to secure all appointments. £20 deposit for cutting services. £40 deposit for colouring services. Appointments will not be confirmed until a deposit has been received. Deposits are non-refundable but can be carried over to a new date if rescheduled within the allowed notice period. Cancellations & Rescheduling 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Your deposit will be transferred to your new appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a 50% charge of the total appointment cost. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment or failure to attend will be charged 100% of the appointment cost. No future appointments can be booked until any outstanding cancellation fees are paid. New Client Policy All new clients must attend a free colour consultation at least 2 weeks before their first colouring appointment. This includes a skin allergy test and ensures the correct stock is available for your treatment. Existing Client Colour Changes Existing clients wishing to change their hair colour must notify us at least 2 weeks in advance so a patch test can be carried out and products can be prepared.
